Luis Fuentes has always been sheltered from the gang violence that nearly destroyed his brothers’ lives. But that didn’t stop him from taking risks—whether he’s scaling a mountain in the Rockies or dreaming of a future as an astronaut, Luis can’t stop looking for the next thrill.
Nikki Cruz lives her life by three rules—boys lie to get their way, don’t trust a boy who says “I love you,” and never date a boy from the south side of Fairfield. Her parents may be from Mexico, but as a doctor’s daughter, she has more in common with her north-side neighbors than the Latino Blood at her school. Then she meets Luis at Alex’s wedding, and suddenly, she’s tempted to break all her rules.
Getting Nikki to take a chance on a southsider is Luis’s biggest challenge, until he finds himself targeted by Chuy Soto, the new head of the Latino Blood. When Chuy reveals a disturbing secret about Luis’s family, the youngest Fuentes finds himself questioning everything he’s ever believed to be true. Will his feelings for Nikki be enough to stop Luis from entering a dark and violent world and permanently living on the edge?

For the first
time ever, I am going to say that I am glad that this series is over. Don’t get
wrong. My favorite book of all times is Perfect Chemistry. But Chain Reaction
(the third book) to me was a repeat of Chain reaction. I felt like so many
things that happened between Alex and Brittany were happening again in this
book. I didn’t like Luis and Nikki much. I just didn’t dig this book.
But that didn’t stop
me from liking the writing style once again. and get excited everytime Alex or
Carlos are mentioned.
Also, the ending
was shocking in this book. So if you are a fan of the last two books, you need
to read this book because of this unexpected ending (Even though, it lacked explanation).
Overall, it was
a great series. And I am waiting for more from Simone.

I definitely agree with you on being happy that the series is over. I loved these books, but like you said it started to get so repetitive! Rules of Attraction was my favorite, I loved Carlos and Kiara! Thanks for the awesome review! :)
Awww...sad you didn't love this one. It seems like this book isn't getting as good reviews as the other two. I'm still excited to read it though :) Great review!
Book Light Graveyard
I missed this series. Sorry this one was a let down. This may be a series I borrow. Great review
