Twilight: Director’s Notebook
The twilight book was a great hit which added the pressure on the director Catherine Hardwicke to make out of Twilight the book a successful movie version . Many people asked themselves how did the director, Catherine Hardwicke, brought the movie together and made out of a successful book a hit movie?
Well, the answer to that question was in the one and only book “ Twilight: Director’s Notebook”
The book was all about Catherine Hardwicke’s experience directing the movie.
First, it talked about the things that inspired Catherine Hardwicke to direct the movie. Then, it talked about how she thought of Bella, Edward and every single character from the book before they were picked and auditioned.
The book included many pictures that you wouldn’t find if you googled “Twilight.” It had pictures of behind the scenes, the set, and many other stuff.
Also the book included a breakdown on how Catherine Hardwicke directed the most important scene of the movie which is “The Van Crush”
One of the greatest reasons why I enjoyed reading this book was because I knew how Robert Pattison was picked out of thousands of guys auditioning.
One of the things that annoyed me while reading the book was the font, for most of the time, wasn’t clear. Also some of the images were hard to see.
If you are a twilight fan, this a must-have book. Also if you are studying to be a director this book is a great guide.
