We all want to be remembered. Charlotte's destiny is to be Forgotten...

Charlotte’s best friend thinks Charlotte might be psychic. Her boyfriend thinks she’s cheating on him. But Charlotte knows what’s really wrong: She is one of the Forgotten, a kind of angel on earth, who feels the Need—a powerful, uncontrollable draw to help someone, usually a stranger.

But Charlotte never wanted this responsibility. What she wants is to help her best friend, whose life is spiraling out of control. She wants to lie in her boyfriend's arms forever. But as the Need grows stronger, it begins to take a dangerous toll on Charlotte. And who she was, is, and will become--her mark on this earth, her very existence--is in jeopardy of disappearing completely.

Charlotte will be forced to choose: Should she embrace her fate as a Forgotten, a fate that promises to rip her from the lives of those she loves forever? Or is she willing to fight against her destiny--no matter how dark the consequences.

A need so beautiful, what a beautiful book.

It's so full of emotion and sadness, sadness of being forgotten. And that is who Charlotte is. A forgotten!

I won't talk much about the storyline because it's so epic and its better if you discovered it yourself. Also, it so unique and hold lots of meanings.

Now let me talk about the writing. It was so simple, yet so brilliant. Anyone can read it and know exactly how Charlotte is feeling. The emotion was captured in a unique way. I just felt happy for Charlotte when she is with Harlin or upset when she has to fulfill a need.

Harlin was just awesome. He is a painter which is something that I don’t get to see that often in YA. He is also sincere and nice and wonderful to Charlotte. Harlin is definitely one of my favorite male characters.

Overall, I love the world Suzanne had created and her spin on the angelic YA books. It was so unique and one of 2011 favorites.

And I, seriously, cant wait for book 2 because A need so beautiful leaves with a cliffhanger and I want to know what will happen next.

Great review! Thanks for not giving too much of the story away. Because you said it was so unique and one of your 2011 faves, it's on my To Read list. It'll nice to read about angels in the midst of so many vampire stories...
