Go with WIND !

Note: This post will find the interest of only Canadians, but if you are not a Canadian read it for fun.

If you follow me on facebook, you will notice that I posted a question asking, "What is your cell phone service provider? Are they meeting your expectations?"

I asked this question for reason and that is because I know most Canadians are not satisfied with their phone service provider at all. Personally, I just came back from a fight with koodo. They cut the service just because they didn’t have my address correct (even though I called and gave them the correct address 2 days ago). And I bet each one of you have their own story with your cell phone service provider companies. Not to mention the fact that they rob us for no reason.

We want to talk unlimited with the lowest amount of money because we have other expenses and cell phones are not a luxury anymore, they are a necessity.

So today I am introducing you a new company. It started in Toronto and Edmonton. It hasn't come to Ottawa yet so I don’t know if it's good or a bad service. But let me tell you that I know the service provider company from back home. It is called "Wind" but the real company's name globally is Orascom. Orascom is the first multinational Egyptian Corporation. Knowing this company from back home, I can tell you that it's great. It has more than 22 million customers. It has the lowest cost per minute in Egypt which is 8 cents per minute. So if it's cheap in Egypt, imagine in Canada.

I just know that WIND will provide its service soon in Ottawa since I saw its ad on one of Ottawa's newspaper.

If you think Wind is your saviour you'll be disappointed! I left wind after only 10 days, because half the time their phone wouldn't work. They say they are just new and they are still building their business. Common! As you said they are a multinational organization. On top of they messed up my bill to the tune of over a $100 through some "mysterious" data charges. From what I hear Koodo at least works. I have a bunch of friends who are with them and they had no complaints, so I might even consider them. Only if they had a blackberry.
