The Book Thief's movie trailer reaction post

I finished reading The Book Thief a while ago and I watched the movie trailer just now and I am here to tell you how I felt about it.

When I was reading the book I imagined the main character, the book thief, much younger than the actress in the movie trailer and not as beautiful of course. So I was thrown off when I watched the trailer. The dad was perfect but the mom…shouldn't she be a bit older. Again, she looked too young for her character.

And I don’t know if I should give my imagination a 10 out of 10 because I totally gave the book thief the same hair style that I saw in the movie trailer. I guess I lived in that era without even knowing about it.

Then Max appeared and I was lost for words. Max's character was the introduction of the climax of this book. He had this strong presence that made you wanted to know everything about him right away. So I am really excited to see what the actor of Max's character has in store for us.

I kept smiling at the tiny scenes they showed in the trailer. Like when she was holding snow in her hands. That part in the book had a huge consequence on somebody. Very special to my heart!

And Rudy

Well he didn’t appear much throughout the trailer but he doesn’t look bad.

The picture and the directing (so far) looked like something out of Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.

In others words, it looked great.

In conclusion, I am super excited for this movie and I cannot wait to watch it

After all, this book is about a girl who finds her voice thanks to reading stolen books.

Movie Review: Salt

HeyHiHello

I just watched a movie called "Salt" starring,  Anglina Joile.  I don’t usually watch action movies and I didn’t even know what the movie was about. I didn’t even watch the trailer before. I wasn’t that eager to watch it. But from the minute it started, it grabbed my attention. Group of North Korean torturing Anglina Jolie, then she is taken back to USA.

I am not going to spoil the movie for you.

But the movie had so many historical events that we are not sure if it's true or not. So basically they started with North Korean torturing an " American Business Women". We all know the history of the cold war and the Korean War. This movie is suppose to be on current events so does that mean North Koreans still torture Americans if they are suspecting them to be spies or not. Because according to my understanding of the movie, that what happened in the first 60 seconds in the movie.

Moving on.

The assassination of John Kennedy. Who killed him? I don’t know.

Well, the movie had its own say on that one.

A Russian spy had something to do with it. A Russian spy killed John Kennedy.  That’s what the movie showed us. It could be just the plot but trust me many of the audience who were watching this movie, will leave the movie theatre thinking that the Russians are the ones who killed John Kennedy.

Well, after all, the movie was great. At least it made me think
.
Now let's watch the trailer together because again I haven’t watched it yet.

Environment: Ocean-The Movie

HeyHiHello

Last Tuesday I went to see  Ocean, the movie produced by Disney. Whenever I said to someone that I was going to see the "Ocean" they would tell me it is very educational or it is for kids since it was produced by Disney. Common sense. Well, I was eager to watch the movie anyways or should I say the documentary film.

The film started by showing a kid standing on an ocean's shore, wondering, "What exactly is the ocean?"

So I am going to tell you the answer I remembered from the movie:
"Scientist could give you statistics or history but to know the Ocean you have to see it, feel it and smell it."

Then the camera goes inside the Ocean showing us creatures that I never thought that they ever existed. There were creatures in every colour, shape and form. There are some that used to live in Ocean and moved to land. There are also animals that used to live on land and now live in the Ocean. Example of these animals is the sea turtle.

The film moves to the blue whale swimming in the Ocean peacefully while eating shrimp. Yummy. If you didn’t know, blue whale is the biggest animal ever existed, so it was a great experience to watch it up close.

Then the camera moves to my favuorite part when they go to the arctic.  You get to see the sea seal searching for a sold ice to live on. You see couple of seals sitting on a piece of ice and then it melts which led to two seals sliding off the ice and swimming till they find another safe place. Most of the time they don’t, and end up dying.

So the film showed us the beauty of the ocean but wait till you get to the end of the movie. They showed what humans did to the Ocean:

1-Most of the oceans in the world are polluted. The film shows wheel carts and runoff pollution in the OCEAN.
2-The temperature of it changed which led to death and extinction of many creatures in the Ocean. This is because of the carbon foot print. Human related too.
3- The spill of oil that happened in the Gulf of Mexico. Ok, so that wasn’t in the movie but it is totally related.

People, we have to take a stand. It is our Ocean. These animals are helpless when it comes to stopping us from killing them. They know us ,now, as their enemy and we are their enemy by judging our actions.

Thanks a lot, humans.

The film ends by: "so before you ask what exactly the Ocean is, ask yourself who exactly are we?"

Please support the ocean by taking this pledge.

The movie was an amazing experience and I cant wait for the sequal which will be called "African Cats."

As always we have a video

Tata for now
